Yale’s Premier Undergraduate Investment Organization
The Yale Student Investment Group is a premier independent undergraduate organization founded in 1982 that seeks to prepare students for personal and professional success in investing. Managing a portfolio of $500,000 in diversified assets, YSIG is one of the oldest and largest undergraduate funds in the nation.
Intellectually Curious and Driven Team
YSIG’s membership is composed of students from all walks of Yale. We pride ourselves on our diverse backgrounds and interests, with majors ranging from Ethics, Politics & Economics, to Computer Science, to Global Affairs, and more. Our 50-person membership spans across all four grades.
Investment Strategy
YSIG is composed of six sector groups including Macro, Consumer, Software, Sustainability, Small Cap and Industrials. Each team presents an investment opportunity to the wider YSIG membership every semester, including formulating an investment thesis, conducting industry research, and creating financial models.
